Peter is in love with Italy and wanted to make his garden have the feeling that he steps outside everyday into his own holiday.

Dutch weather though means that a veranda needed to be built for BBQ'ing most of the year.

The challenge was to combine a rustic Italian veranda with a systematic 1930's pragmatical Dutch house.

​

The columns and beams follow the rigour of the houses structureand the materialisation is rustic Italy.
